Lavanya completed her Masters in Ecosophical Aesthetics from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. She is passionate about documenting different forms of art and brings in perspectives of ecology, philosophy, arts and aesthetics in her writings. She is a seeker of unfamiliar and unheard stories and has closely worked with the tribal women, documenting mythological tales and stories for children. She spends most of her time reading, writing poetry and short stories, capturing lives through photography and painting. She also loves collecting artisanal handicrafts and writing postcards.
