Like water for art (and chocolate)
Because art does not know caste or class, we thought it would help us engage the most disenfranchised children differently. This is a flagship programme that seeks to create explorative and experiential learning spaces for children who show artistic talent. Apart from imparting relevant and sustained training in a variety of multimedia and arts, it focuses on developing every child emotionally, intellectually & psychologically
Every medium of art explored and used for training shows the way to a bigger picture. One where every child is more self-assured, expressive and articulate. One where every child is able to express their individuality and unique meaning-making without fear and shame. Currently, there are 6 Art Labs across Chennai, 2 in Coimbatore and 2 in Delhi. In effect, more than 3000 children have been able to go deeper into their artistic potential.
