I am here, I matter, I too can make a difference! An emphatic journey from not knowing how to belong to carving out an identity, is what this program assists children with disabilities in. It finds application in various scenarios of disability including developmental delays, mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s Syndrome and various forms of learning disorders. Through the use of varied forms of art, this programme makes learning, expression and a brand new way of being possible.
The idea behind art-based interventions is to foster an environment that naturally brings these children up to speed. Through this initiative, we honour the fact that they experience the world differently and hence, must be able to access learning methods that accommodate their needs. From coordination to sequencing to socialisation, children under this program undergo a holistic process that enables their cognitive, social and emotional development.
