NalandaWay Institute

What is the NalandaWay Institute (NI)

Over the last 17 years we have used art and play to serve more than a million children from
vulnerable communities in becoming creative, confident, resilient and joyful. We have worked
with adult caregivers and teachers to help foster nurturing safe spaces for children and
prioritize positive and preventive mental health for all.

Now, we want to extend ourselves to join hands with others on this mission.

NI is the training and consulting arm of NalandaWay Foundation, offering capacity-building, tools and resources, and strategic partnerships.

What problem are we trying to solve?

We’re looking to bridge gaps in the sector in –
  • The understanding of mental health and implementation of mental wellbeing programs
  • Using and assessing art and play-based programs in formal and informal learning spaces
  • Design and facilitation skills in art and mental wellbeing
  • Impact assessment and reporting
To this end, we are offering –
  • Art-enabled, evidence-based programs
  • Impact assessment tools
  • Training workshops
  • Curriculum
  • Hand-holding and mentoring

to those committed to helping children and
adolescents thrive.

Why reinvent the wheel spending time and resources when you can partner with us?

Whom do we work with?

If you are an organization serving children and youth in any form, or funding or supporting one,
we are your allies in securing their wellbeing and creating vibrant, safe learning spaces for them.

NI works with State government departments, NGOs, Foundations, CSR funds, Schools (private and public), Scholarship Programs, and Companies employing young adults from marginalized communities. Within these organizations, NI engages with the strategy, design, and impact assessment teams, facilitators and teachers.

Some of the organisations we have worked with include –
