Abhishek Kumar

Abhishek has studied Philosophy, Applied Drama & Cultural Policy, and Theatre Arts at University of London, National School of Drama, and Mandala Center (USA), etc. He worked with Pan Intercultural Arts, Asian Heritage Foundation, Azim Premji Foundation, etc. He received Ford Foundation Fellowship, Inlaks Award, Arts for Good Fellowship (SIF), IFPA award (IIE- USA), National Artist Award, and Tagore Fellowship. His works include a book “Expression of Cultural Identity through Arts” and papers on Education/Arts. He has multiple work experience with children and educators. He is associated with Humana People to People and Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts as Educator, Researcher, and Theatre Practitioner. His present quest is the Application of Arts and Critical Pedagogy in Education, as well as discursive community theatre.
