Riya has a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Master’s in Social Work from Delhi School of Social Work. It almost seemed like fate to work with children since she has worked with children when she interned with organisations such as CRY, SARD and CURE India. She believes in children being the best version of themselves and the faces of humanity. With the healing and expressive properties of art, she believes that they can grow into emotionally sound individuals that can end world problems. Riya finds cooking therapeutic and loves to cook for the people she cares about. She also stitches patches for clothes and sketches occasionally. Besides that, she is learning to play the ukulele and also wants to learn to play the kalimba someday.
