HOLISTIC EDUCATION PROGRAMMES
The social experiment
Squashed between exam stress and Covid-19 repercussions, 900000 students found themselves not knowing when they would be writing their tests. Of these, 620000 came from less privileged backgrounds, and had to deal with more challenges. Keeping them in mind, we began the Take it Easy project. So that they could find a way to de-stress, express & harness their energies, while preparing for impending exams.
Initiated between the months of May and June, 2020, this project found a simple yet interactive solution for students waiting to appear for their board exams. All they had to do was give a missed call on 9266617888. In return, an automated call featuring the story of the day would be played to them. These would invariably feature multiple strategies fostering mental & emotional well-being. In the course of the 30-day project, the data revealed that 122072 calls had been made, 6028 children had left voice notes and 32748 active listeners had benefited.
